Cecilia Ulicny, left, a junior at Tamaqua Area High School, has been selected as the 2025 recipient of the Dr. John and Nell Forrest Vocal Scholarship, according to John Buglio, right, choral director at the high school. The scholarship entitles Ulicny to attend a one-week, all expense paid trip to Ryder University to attend the Westminster Choir College Summer Vocal Institute. Ulicny will join students from all over the world in an intensive music camp that focuses on choral music and vocal training. She is the daughter of Steve and Johanna Ulicny of Tamaqua.
