The Valley Royale tennis club recently held its first Junior tournament of 2025. Fourteen players from Stroudsburg, Wilkes-Barre, Allentown, Blue Mountain and Lehighton competed in the event.

The final winners from the day were Bekim Cokrlija (Lehighton) and Amish Amit (Clarks Summit).

The next Junior tournament will be June 21.

The club will hold its Season Kickoff tournament tomorrow, which is open to members ($20) & non-members ($40). The divisions will be men’s/women’s singles and men’s/women’s/mixed doubles. One registration allows players to play in as many divisions as they want.

On May 30, the club is hosting Friday Night Live with the USTA. This event is open to any high schooler. The club will have round robins, pizza, drinks and music from 5-7 p.m.

The following morning, Saturday, May 31 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. will be the annual Kids Tennis Carnival, which will feature a tennis obstacle course, activity stations, prizes, and more. It is open to all ages.
