Monroe votes for judges, school board, supervisors

The race will continue until fall for the judges to fill vacant spots left by Judges Art Zulick and Margherita Patti-Worthington, who are retiring. The top vote-getters on the Democratic ticket are Janet Jackson and Patrick Best. On the Republican ticket, Kelly Lombardo and Alex Marek won a place on the ballot.

With all 55 precincts reporting, the unofficial results in the order they appear on the ballot:

• Chestnuthill Township supervisor — Jeffrey Weiss, 712;

• Eldred Township supervisor (two year term) — Alyssa Meadows, 120;

• Eldred Township supervisor (six year term) — Michael Kolba, 119;

Republican

• Pleasant Valley School District (vote for 4) — Melanie Zipp, 925; Denise Hopely, 1,140; Norman Burger, 1,131; Janet Dooner, 1,013; Diane Serfass, 952;

• Chestnuthill Township supervisor (vote for 1) — Hector Ramirez garnered more votes than Deborah Modica, with 526 to Modica’s 390.

• Eldred Township supervisor (six year term) — Susan McGinty, 162;

• Polk Township supervisor (six year term) — Carl Heckman, 413;

• Ross Township supervisor (vote for 1) — Greg Gill, 249: Galen Balinski, 135.
