ON THIS DATE MAY 14, 1979

Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansford, announced a special service will be held to honor the 40-year anniversary of the ordination of its pastor, Rev. Raymond F. Weider.

The Rev. Dr. Dwight F. Putman, retired president of the Central Pennsylvania Synod, will preach the sermon for the event.

Special music will be provided by the church choir, directed by Mrs. Donald Filer, accompanied by organist Mrs. Thomas Coxe. Special solos will be sung by visiting guests while Scott Maurer and Wendy Kissner will be the acolytes and Richard Willing will be the altar boy.

Rev. Weider was ordained on May 17, 1939, in Harrisburg.
