Membership in the Lake Harmony Volunteer Fire Company has hit the 500 mark, James V. Macalush Jr., membership chairman, disclosed at a recent meeting.

George Maehrer, fire chief, announced at the session a committee has been established to plan the testimonial for Floyd “Pete” Kromer, past president of the company who served for nine years.

Frank Gilotti will serve as chairman of the committee, which will also include Viola Gaugler, co-chairperson, Morgan Ginder, Charles Rhoads, Robert Burke, Kramer Giober and Charles Schnauffer.
