Rush Township police are investigating a crash that occurred sometime overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.

Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene Wednesday around 10 a.m. along Tuscarora Park Road.

Upon arriving on scene they found no one around a vehicle fifteen feet over an embankment. The unit was traveling east and failed to negotiate a ninety degree turn to the right jumping a set of guide rails and striking several trees.

Police later learned the owner is from Tamaqua and was gifted the vehicle just two weeks earlier.
