A co-ed flag football camp will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 21 at the Narrow Valley Sports Complex in Nesquehoning.

Girls from grades 3-12 and boys in grades 3-8 are welcomed to attend.

The staff will be led by former Marian Football Coach Stan Dakosty, current Marian Football Coach Bill O’Gurek and former Northern Lehigh Football Coach Jim Tkach, along with guest coach Joe Trainer, who has Division 1 and Division 2 coaching experience and is currently the head girls’ flag football coach at Immaculata College.

The staff will work with the campers to learn the rules and fundamentals of flag football. In addition, Coach Trainer will share with the girls and their parents the opportunities that are becoming available to play at the college level in a sport that is rapidly expanding across the country
