Police said the woman told police that she had been in a relationship with Matukonis and the two began an argument while she was driving. The woman said Matukonis grabbed the steering wheel and caused her to swerve.
She told police the argument continued when she parked her car and Matukonis threw his phone and hit her in the neck, grabbed her right arm and bit her on the right thigh. The woman was advised to seek medical treatment.
• Rina Sementilli, 44, of Pottsville, was charged with harassment for causing a disturbance just before midnight on April 18.
Officers said they were called to the 500 block of East Union Street for two women fighting on the street. Sementilli began screaming while officers were speaking to another woman.
