Summit Hill Boy Scout Troop 140 held a campfire court of honor Saturday at Miller’s farm in Bloomingdale, hosted by owner Harry Miller, who provided the refreshments for the event.

Badges of rank were presented to the following: Stanley Gieniec, tenderfoot; William Gibson, second class; Kip Rimm, life badge; Elmer Heffelfinger, woodcarving and cooking badges; Gibson, citizenship in the home, home repairs, music, reading and architecture badges; Kip Rimm, cooking and animal industry badges; Raymond Moser, citizenship in the home, woodcarving and safety badges; and Joseph Nihen, printing merit badge.

The awards were presented by Philip Chabot after the Scout Oath was led by Stephen Wargo.
