The Pleasant Valley School Board approved the following items last week.

• Hiring of professional staff: Robert Quinn, physics teacher, PVHS, Step 14, $99,242, effective Aug. 20, new position;

• Resignations: Alison Loncto, food service, PVMS, effective May 2;

• Retirements: Paul McCrone, history teacher, PVMS; Mark Rehrig, environmental teacher, PVHS; and Steven Krechel, learning support teacher, PVHS; Lyn Owermohle, paraprofessional, PVIS; Karen Voulo, paraprofessional, PVMS, all effective end of the 2024-25 school year; and Helen Sabo, secretary, PVHS, effective July 7.
