                A Monroe County driver is facing charges following a vehicle stop at 11:33 a.m. on Friday along Route 209 at Mill Pond Road in Polk Township.
                State police at Lehighton said a vehicle operated by a 25-year-old Tobyhanna man, who troopers declined to identify, was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be driving under the influence of a controlled substance. A further investigation revealed he was in possession of drug paraphernalia.
                Charges are pending test results.
