A Tamaqua man faces many charges following multiple incidents.
Thomas A. Tessitore Jr., 36, of Tamaqua, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia as the result of a June 8 incident in Tamaqua. Police said Tessitore had six plastic baggies on him, which were commonly used to package narcotics, along with a hypodermic needle.
Police said Tessitore was also involved in two separate thefts.
Police received a call on June 3 in regard to a retail theft at Fegley’s. After reviewing video footage, Tessitore was inside the store pacing around. He asked to use the bathroom and he put a milkshake in the machine. About 10 minutes later Tessitore left the store without paying full retail price for the milkshake.
On June 9, police received a call from Boyer’s Market stating that Tessitore was inside the store and then fled with two items. A copy of a trespassing order dated April 26 was shown to police from an assistant manager of the store. Police said charges will be filed.
