The Pleasant Valley School District approved the following contracts and field trips during the school board meeting on Thursday:

• Four Diamonds Mini-Thon Partnership Agreement for PVHS Mini-THON event at 7 p.m. on April 26 to 7 a.m. on April 27, 2025.

• Change order for Myco Mechanical Inc. for credit for unused material allowance in the amount of $149,805.51, an HVAC ESSER III Project.

• The vendor(s) for fuel oil for the 2025-26 school year that will be recommended by the Northampton/Monroe/Pike County Joint Purchasing Board.

• Field trips with no additional cost to the district — PVHS German program, student trip to Rhineland, Germany, June 22 to July 7, 2025; and PVHS Ski Club to Blue Mountain Ski Resort for six trips.

• Field trips with additional cost to school district — PVIS Chorus to PVHS for the PMEA Songfest, $128.92 for busing, April 4, 2025, and PVIS students to CIU 20 for Math 24 Competition, $354.53 for van, May 5, 2025, both covered by PVIS Transportation Budget; PVHS Brass Band to PVH-Pocono Cancer Center, Tree Lighting Ceremony, $193.38 for busing, Dec. 4, and PVHS Band to Palmerton HS for Carbon County Band Concert, $1,160.28 for busing for two round trips and one drop-off, March 11, 12 and 13, 2025, both covered by HS Field Trip Budget.
