A Nesquehoning organization is honoring its veterans with a meal this upcoming Veterans Day.

The Nesquehoning Historical Society is hosting the meal from 4-6 p.m. on Nov. 12 at the Nesquehoning Hose Company No. 1.

Lois Kuba, president of the society, said that this is the first year the organization is doing the meal and she hopes it is well received because veterans are such a large part of the community.

The meal, which will includes turkey, ham and all the fixings, is free for Nesquehoning veterans plus one guest.

Reservations are required to allow for the proper amount of food to be prepared.
