West Penn Township supervisors took the following action Tuesday morning:

• Township solicitor Paul J. Datte said he is still waiting to hear back from Charles Schmehl, consultant with Urban Research and Development Corp., on the zoning ordinance update.

• Adopted a resolution approving the budget for the 2024 Department of Community Development Block Grant program for fiscal year 2024.

• Awarded line painting to D.E. Gemmill of Red Lion, York County, in the amount of $14,671.

• Awarded the 2024 material bid contract to Lehigh Asphalt & Construction Company.
