Tamaqua Seniors

The Tamaqua Senior Citizens met on Sept. 5, with 24 members present.

President Jean Machamer opened the meeting with the invocation. One member was added to the sick list, and one member was welcomed back.

Four members are celebrating September birthdays.

The Christmas party will be catered by Hess Catering and will be held at the Coaldale Complex.

Refreshments were served, the meeting closed and games were played.

The group is collecting canned goods for the Tamaqua Hunger Campaign.

The group meets at 1 p.m. every Thursday at the Coaldale Complex. Anyone 55 and older is invited.
