The next Carbon County Vietnam Veteran Coffee and Camaraderie will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. on Sept. 19 at the No. 9 Coal Mine in Lansford.

All Vietnam veterans are welcome to attend for coffee and conversation.

The October Carbon County Vietnam Veteran Coffee and Camaraderie will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 17 at the Lehigh Canal in Weissport.

RSVP to that event no later than Oct. 14 using the aforementioned contact information.

Carbon County Veterans Affairs is hosting the annual Vets Vote, a way to encourage veterans to cast their votes and then enjoy a supper and campfire on the beach at Mauch Chunk Lake Park.

The event will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Nov. 5. All veterans are welcome. You should bring a camping chair and blankets.
