Carbon County Planning Commission

The Carbon County Planning Commission made recommendations on the following plans during its monthly meeting on Tuesday:

• Anthony M. and Katelyn A. O’Gorman received plan approval for a proposed minor subdivision at the intersection of State Route 902 and East Mountain Top Road in Summit Hill. The plans call for creating two lots from a 7.62-acre lot.

• Dayo G. Matti received conditional plan approval for a proposed lot line combination at 1852 State Route 903, Penn Forest Township. The plans call for combining two tax parcels into one lot. It was noted the new tax parcel number needs to be assigned by Carbon County GIS before final approval and recording in the Carbon County recorder of deeds office.

• Todd R. and Lisa M. Banning received plan approval for a proposed subdivision at 2009 Hemlock Drive, Mahoning Township. The plans call for subdividing 28.8768 acres into two lots.

• Peter M. and Kelly A. Beblavy received conditional plan approval for a proposed subdivision at 827 Stone Mountain Road, East Penn Township. The plans call for subdividing 33.2053 acres into two lots.

• David E. Whiteman received conditional plan rejection for a proposed minor subdivision at 865 Owl Creek Road, Towamensing Township. The plans call for creating three lots; however, planners noted several areas in the plan that need to be addressed before approval should be made.
