Defendants entering pleas before Judge Joseph J. Matika this week included:

Victor John Svitilla, 33, of Lansford, pleaded to one count each of simple assault and disorderly conduct.He was arrested on July 13 at 365 W. Ridge St., by Lansford police. Police were dispatched to the home for a report of a fight involving an adult and a 15-year-old male. On scene officers determined that Svitilla had assaulted the teen in a dispute of an iPhone. The victim is a relative of Svitilla.Svitilla is currently serving a three to six month prison term on a probation violation in the county prison.Matika placed him on probation for a year and ordered get a drug and alcohol evaluation and follow any recommendation for treatment, zero tolerance on drug and alcohol use, attend and complete a anger management course, and render 50 hours of community service when released for prison. On the conduct charge he was fined $100.Matika ruled the sentence run concurrent with the probation violation.Christopher Luis Falu, 26, of Lansford, pleaded to one count of persistent disorderly conduct.He was arrested on May 22 by Lansford police in the area of 268 E. Patterson St.He was placed on probation for six months and ordered to render 25 hours of community service.Christopher Michael Hull, 21, of Kunkletown, pleaded to one count of criminal conspiracy-retail theft.He was arrested by Mahoning Township police on Oct. 5, 2013, for his part in a theft incident at the Walmart store.Hull was previously placed in the county's Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program but was revoked for violating conditions.Matika placed him on probation for six months and ordered he render 25 hours of community service and to stay out of the Walmart store.Thomas George Reabold, 69, of Andreas, pleaded to one count of retail theft.He was arrested on Oct. 15, 2014, by Nesquehoning police for an incident at Redner's Warehouse Market where he took a block of cheese valued at $5.48.Matika placed him on probation for a year and ordered he make restitution of $5.48 and stay out of Redner's.Jessica Lynn Bing, 25, of Effort, pleaded to one count of retail theft.She was arrested on Oct. 9, 2014, by Mahoning Township police for an incident at Lowe's, where she took power tools valued at $924.31. The tools were recovered by police.Matika placed her on probation for a year and ordered her to render 50 hours of community service, zero tolerance on D&A use, and stay out of Lowe's.Francis Edward Bowman, 53, of Summit Hill, pleaded to one count each of harassment and criminal mischief, both summary offenses.He was arrested by Summit Hill police for an incident at his residence on March 19. Police responded to a domestic incident with Bowman and Kelly Rehrig.Matika imposed fines totaling $200.Gary R. Bureau, 30, of Lansford, pleaded to one count of persistent disorderly conduct.He was arrested on June 13, at 721 Patterson St., by Lansford police for an incident involving William L. Major Jr. as the listed victim. The two were involved in a altercation involving physical contact.Matika placed him on probation for a year and ordered he render 50 hours of community service.William L. Major Jr., 38, of Coaldale, pleaded to one count of persistent disorderly conduct. He was involved in the incident with Bureau.Matika imposed the same sentence, a year probation and 50 hours of community service.Each defendant must also pay court costs of about $1,000, and a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
