State police at the Fern Ridge barracks were called to the CVS store at the intersection of routes 115 and 209 in Chestnuthill Township at 8:30 p.m. July 12 for a retail theft incident.

They said a suspect entered the store, took a bag from the self-checkout register, placed numerous items into it and fled the store with the unpaid merchandise.
