The Carbon County Democratic Party is moving its monthly Potluck & Postcards, held the 4th Wednesday of the month, from the Jim Thorpe office to a larger venue.

The event will now be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wine & More on 1st, located at 165 South 1st Street in Lehighton.

The most recent event saw over 1200 postcards, a rate of 10 a minute, written and addressed by the volunteers who enjoyed an assortment of refreshments brought by their fellow volunteers.
