Walnutport has adopted an ordinance to regulate flow of traffic, establish no parking areas and limit truck traffic.

Borough council on Thursday unanimously agreed to adopt the ordinance that calls for establishing no parking on the north side of Birch Street from Lincoln Avenue to Williams Street.

The ordinance also calls for no parking on the east side of Lehigh Gap Street from South Best Avenue to North Best Avenue.

In addition, it calls for no truck traffic except for local deliveries on North Railroad Street from Main Street to North Canal Street and back to Main Street.
