West Penn Lions install officers
The 2024-2025 West Penn Township Lions officers and directors were installed at their Installation Banquet on June 6, at Leiby’s Ice Cream House and Restaurant in Tamaqua.
Outgoing President Karissa Brothers welcomed members and guests. Past international director Robert Miller welcomed and introduced district governor elect Grace Karrer from the Saint Clair Lions Club, who officiated and installed all officers and directors into their respective Lion offices.
International director Robert Miller and Club secretary Lion Bob Neumoyer presented Lion Awards. Lion Neumoyer acknowledged 15 club members who earned attendance and service recognition for their dedication and hard work over the past Lions year.
These 15 Lion members attended a combined 23 yearly meetings and participated and completed 30 service events and activities over the past lion year.
Past international director Robert Miller, from the West Penn Lions Club, presented an International Presidential Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of LCI President Dr. Patti Hill from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to Lion Becky Neumoyer. The certificate was presented to Lion Becky Neumoyer in recognition of her Distinguished Achievement in Fulfilling the Mission of Lions International.
