Everything at Mauch Chunk Lake went well over Memorial Day weekend, officials reported.

Last week, the county commissioners said that there were no major issues and “everything seemed to go well.”

Mauch Chunk Lake Park, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, is now open for swimming, camping, boating and fishing and is a county-owned recreational destination for locals and visitors alike.

Last month, park director, David Horvath, told commissioners that the park sees more than 100,000 guests each year.
