The dust has settled and returning champions South Carbon County, comprised of Lehighton and Palmerton seniors, are the top team for the 2024 Carbon County Senior Games.

The final scores are South Carbon County, 776; and North Carbon County, comprised of Panther Valley, Weatherly and Jim Thorpe, 524.

The games will officially conclude at 4 p.m. on Friday with a banquet at the Oriole’s in Lehighton.

The final day of competition was pushed back a day to Thursday with miniature golf at Heisler’s Dairy in the Lewistown Valley. The event, originally scheduled for last Friday, was postponed due to weather.
