The flood advisory has been extended to  6:45 p.m. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen and another inch may fall today.

Some locations that could experience flooding include  Lehighton, Mount Pocono, Tobyhanna, Jim Thorpe, Nesquehoning,   Weatherly, Henryville, New Mahoning, Pocono Pines, Pocono Raceway,  Lake Harmony, Skytop, Tannersville, Mountainhome, Alpine Mountain,  Long Pond, Albrightsville, Sun Valley, Arrowhead Lake and Jonas.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying

spots.
