Mahoning Township supervisors took the following action on Wednesday:
• On a 3-2 vote, agreed to spend $2,229 for an antenna for the police department, and $915 for an antenna for the road department. Supervisor Deb McGowan and board Chairman Robert Slaw were opposed.
• Tabled a quote in the amount of $10,500 from RJ3 Trusted Security Services for cameras.
• Tabled the cross access easement agreement with the Carbon Plaza Shopping Center.
• Granted a waiver request for the Merluzzi minor subdivision pertaining to road frontage on Mahoning Mountain Drive, and granted conditional approval of the subdivision conditioned upon zoning hearing board approval.
• Agreed to advertise sealed bids for road materials and fuels.
• Announced the board will look to adopt the ordinance amendment to rename Clinic Road to Diaz Road at next month’s meeting.
