Tamaqua Area High School senior Shaina Ristila was recently awarded the 2024 Schuylkill County Chorus Festival Vocal Scholarship.
The scholarship is a $500 award presented to an outstanding senior in Schuylkill County that is planning to pursue a career in music. The award is presented annually at the Schuylkill County Chorus Festival by the Schuylkill County Choral Directors Association.
Ristila is planning to major in Music Education at Lebanon Valley College in the fall. She is the daughter of Gary and Christine Ristila of Tamaqua.
