State police at Schuylkill Haven said a body was found in the area of Tunnel Road in East Norwegian Township around 10:45 a.m. Thursday.

The location is near St. Clair and behind the Empire Beauty School, police said.

Troopers, who were called to assist the St. Clair Police Department, haven’t yet determined the identity of the person.

Police said the body appears to be of a male between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet, 2 inches tall, and weighing approximately 175 to 225 pounds.

The person was wearing a light gray sweatshirt, white T-shirt, dark gray jogging pants, and tan and gray

size 11 men’s shoes with white soles and gray socks.
