Nesquehoning police have issued several citations for failing to keep their lawns mowed. All three were cited on May 30.

Robert S. Thomas, Jim Thorpe: Cited for property at 121 E. Railroad St. Borough contractors cut the grass on July 1, and Thomas owes the borough $700 for the work.Annette Olson, Nesquehoning: Cited for property at 66 E. Railroad St. The grass was cut June 24, and Olson owes the borough $137.50 for the work.Lucila Staggers, Bloomingdale, New Jersey: Cited May 30 for property at 93 W. Railroad St. The borough cut the grass on June 24; Staggers owes the borough $110 for the work.
