The Carbon County Labor Chapter will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Democratic Information Center, 110 S. First St., Lehighton.

Meeting topics include: The attack on public sector unions within Carbon County and what can the chapter do to help, and the changes underway regarding the Area Labor Federation and discussion of the chapter outreach plan.The chapter will be sending a mailing to members of union households within Carbon County and will have informational booths at community festivals throughout the summer.
