Palmerton residents have been reminded to comply with the borough’s leaf collection process.

It was stated at Thursday’s borough council meeting that residents put their leaves between the curb and sidewalk, and not in the street.

Councilman Kris Hoffner heaped praise on the leaf collection, which runs through Dec. 1.

“I received a lot of compliments about how our guys are doing,” Hoffner said. “We’re really fortunate.”
