The Lutheran Church of St. John in the Heights in Jim Thorpe, along with Mason’s Cold Beer stores in Jim Thorpe and Lehighton and with a Thrivent Action Team, have launched a toy collection to benefit the Head Start programs in the area.

Toys will be collected until Dec. 10 and then taken to the regional Head Start office for distribution before Christmas. Toys can be dropped off at Mason’s Cold Beer locations during business hours or at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 319 South Avenue in Jim Thorpe on Sunday, Nov. 26 from 1-3 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 3 from 1-3 p.m. If unable to drop off your toy donations during the hours shown please contact John at 570-413-4474 to make arrangements.
