State police at Frackville

State police at the Frackville barracks have reported on incidents to which officers responded to recently as follows:

• Police are investigating the theft of a 2-11 Victory cross-country motorcycle. It was reported stolen between 2:06 p.m. Oct. 1 and 2:06 p.m. Nov. 2 from a property on Valley Road, Walker Township.

A 54-year-old man from Tamaqua reported the motorcycle is black and has two small Grateful Dead stickers on the rear of its saddlebags.

• The driver of a 2010 Subaru Legacy that struck a 2017 Jeep Wrangler at 5:14 p.m. Nov. 2 on Upper Main Street in Mahanoy Township was cited for obedience to traffic control devices.

Police did not identify the driver but said the Legacy was traveling on Suffolk Road and turning onto Route 54 when it struck the Wrangler that was westbound at the time.

No one was injured and both drivers were able to drive their vehicles from the scene, police said.

• Police are investigating an access device fraud case they were called to at 6:10 a.m. Sept. 30 at the Walmart store, 35 Plaza Drive, Rush Township (Hometown).

Police said they were told someone used 13 credit and debit cards to purchase and attempt to purchase Visa gift cards, succeeding in purchasing five gift cards each valued at $400.
