Lehighton Borough Council took the following action on Monday:

• Appointed Tina Henninger and Lisa Kishbaugh to the borough’s Parks & Recreation Board.

• Adopted a resolution regarding State Aid.

• Awarded road material and aggregate bids.

• Trick or treat will be held in the borough from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.

• Approved the Annual Snowflake 5K to be held on Dec. 9.
