Palmerton Borough Council took the following action last week:

• Agreed to pursue personnel for leaf collection this fall.

• Announced that trick-or-treat will be held from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 28.

• Approved a request from Lehighton Borough for fire police assistance for Lehighton’s Halloween Parade at 4 p.m. Oct. 21.
