More than 75 volunteer firemen from Lehigh Fire Company 1 and Engine Company 2 in Lehighton responded to an alarm at 8:45 p.m. yesterday when a boxcar on the Lehigh Valley Railroad caught fire.

The blaze was confined to the interior of the car.
