A Kistler Transportation bus, used to transport Tamaqua Area School District students, was rear-ended this morning as it was pulling out of the parking area in West Penn Township.

The buses are parked at the rear of Fegley's Gas Station on Route 309.There were no students on the bus and no reported injuries.Damage to the bus was limited to the bumper, while the truck that struck it had to be towed from the scene.The district was on a two hour delay, due to the weather.Some students reportedly waited an additional 30-45 minutes at their bus stops before being picked up.
