The District 14U Lions Clubs will be hosting "A Nite at the Races" on Oct. 3 at the Mahoning Ambulance Building in Lehighton.

Participants can buy and name a horse and can pick the race or races they wish to compete in. There will be fun for all, whether you are a novice or a horse race aficionado.Prizes will be awarded for each race. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with a post time of 7 p.m. There is an admission fee.
