The Weatherly Area PTA and the Weatherly Area Wellness Council will host a Drug and Alcohol Expo sponsored by state Rep. Doyle Heffley in October. The event will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Oct. 22 in the Weatherly Area Middle School, located at 602 Sixth St., Weatherly.The event will feature a variety of informational displays and exhibits about drug and alcohol use, abuse, treatment and recovery. Some exhibits will be designated adult viewing only, but there will be kids’ activities offered throughout the evening so that adults may view those specific exhibits while the kids are supervised.More specific details about what vendors that will be there will be available closer to the date.Refreshments will be available throughout the event.Call Weatherly Area PTA president Donnell Stump at 570-579-8801 with questions.
