Andrea Roche, Tamaqua businesswoman, received Tamaqua BPW's prestigious Orchid Award during the club's annual ceremony.The award, representing the BPW's Woman of the Year, was presented during National Business Women's Week, to an outstanding woman in the community who has devoted her time, energy and spirit as an active participant in projects and issues that involve the community and the concerns and interests of women.The recipient and her husband, Robert, operate the Roche Funeral Home, Tamaqua, and she is also the supervisor at the McNamara Funeral Home, Lansford.
