A 55 year old female escaped serious injury Tuesday night when she rolled her vehicle into a ditch in East Penn township. The crash occurred at 10 p.m. as she was traveling west on Route 895 and attempted to make a left turn onto Lauchner Road. Her vehicle rolled down into a ditch onto its side. Fire fighters of the East Penn township fire company extricated her from the wreckage. She was being evaluated by members of the Mahoning Valley ambulance and Lehighton paramedics. State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
