MACUNGIE (AP) - A quick-moving fire ripped through a northeastern Pennsylvania home, killing two people inside.
Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim hasn't released the names of those who died in the Thursday morning blaze in Lower Macungie Township, south of Allentown.
A neighbor tells the (Allentown) Morning Call (http://bit.ly/1Mj8lTR ) he heard a woman screaming and tried to help them escape but was unable to fight his way through the thick smoke and flames.
Neighbor Jim Onuschco says a woman and her college-age daughter managed to get out before the roof collapsed.
State police say the fire began shortly after 6 a.m. When fire crews arrived, they found the single-family home engulfed in flames.
