State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a tractor trailer rollover along Route 61.

The crash occurred just before 10 a.m. Saturday as the operator of the rig was traveling west on Route 895 and attempted to make a left turn onto Route 61 south. The unit was apparently traveling too fast and as it entered the turn it rolled onto its right side.

The operator of the rig was not injured. The tank was ruptured in the incident spilling out water which authorities said was believed to be taken from a site in West Penn township.

The unit is owned by Rick's Hauling.
