A GoFundMe.com website has been set up for a 3-year-old Weatherly girl who was killed in a violent crash April 9 in Lehigh County.
The fundraising page has been set up for Nevaeha Lydia Marie Rivera, who was killed when the car she was a passenger in collided with another vehicle and was ripped apart.Rivera was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred in the 1900 block of Weaversville Road in Hanover Township.State police at Bethlehem said Christeena Williams of Weatherly was southbound in a curve when she lost control of her vehicle. The rear driver's side of the car entered the northbound lane and struck the front driver side of a pickup operated by Deven Knoll of Northampton.Williams' vehicle then veered back into the southbound lane and came to rest. Knoll's vehicle came to rest just north of the scene in the southbound lane.Upon impact, Williams' vehicle tore apart and Rivera, who was in a child safety seat, was ejected from the rear seat and landed on the road.Troopers said there also was a 10-month-old child in another child safety seat with Williams. The report did not indicate the gender of the child or if the child was injured.Police also did not say if Williams and Knoll were injured. The Lehigh County coroner's office said the cause of death was accidental.Carmen Serrano, the cousin of Nevaeha's father, Carlos Rivera, set up the page on April 11."As many of you know we lost an Angel on Saturday, April 9, 2016," Serrano said. "She was taken too soon from this world."Serrano added, "Nevaeha was a sweet, caring, and lovable little girl. She was everyone's heart and soul and no matter what, she had a smile that would light up a room. Words cannot describe how loved she was."The goal is to raise $8,000 through the website.Donations may be made by going to the site at
