Clothing donations

St. John's Lutheran Church, 319 South Ave., Jim Thorpe, will begin collecting clean used and new clothing for its annual clothing giveaway. The church will be open today through Thursday, and July 18 through July 21, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. for anyone wishing to drop items off. They will also accept small household items, bedding, linens and curtains.
