The Schuylkill County Salary Board on Wednesday approved the creation of three caseworker jobs for the Children & Youth Services Agency at $17.27 an hour.

The board also hired Kimberly Denchy, Ryan Township, as district justice assistant I at $12.51 an hour; John Szczyglak, Shenandoah, as a probation aide at $13.35 an hour; and John Koury, Schuylkill Haven, as a per diem security guard II at $15 an hour.- Chris Parker
