Slatington Borough Council passed a resolution to set the salary for Police Chief David Rachman.

His 2015 salary of $72,978 was increased by 3 percent, $75,167 to begin January of this year.A 5 percent deduction of the chief's wages was included in the resolution to be contributed to the retirement fund.
