Avery Day, daughter of Christopher and Kimberly Day of Jim Thorpe, has completed her junior year at East Stroudsburg University, where she is majoring in special education and early childhood education.

Avery has been named to the dean's list with a 3.87 GPA.Avery is involved in Best Buddies at ESU and has been inducted into the honor society of Tau Sigma, Kappa Delta Pi and Sigma Pi Epsilon Delta. She has been elected pledge master for Kappa Delta Pi.
