At 823 pounds, the great pumpkin of the 2016 Allentown Fair was hands down the winner in its category. The prizewinning vegetable was grown by Maynard Serfass of Lehighton, whose oversized pumpkins also have been winning blue ribbons at the Bloomsburg Fair for years.
